"Just For Fun”

The designing, mold making, casting, and finishing of my cast work is a very long process. As satisfying as it is there is very little of the process that is spontaneous; outside the actual pouring of the glass. (see a video). I sometimes miss the immediacy and flow of blowing glass. I occasionally blow “Peanut Glasses” to satisfy that need.  Besides being fun and loose it’s a kind of therapy for me to balance out the long process of the cast work. Each one is different and “they are never off-center; just a little relaxed.”
